Comments: I was extremely satisfied with my wedding day video. After watching it, I saw so many things that I didn't even know happened.

The wedding day went by so fast. I am so glad that I have a video to see all of those missed moments. WilksVision really did a

wonderful job capturing everything that happened that day and I will be forever grateful for that. I have watched our wedding video

about a hundred times and I still cry every time, along with everyone else who watches it! I know I would have deeply regretted it if

we wouldn't have gotten a videographer. Our wedding video is priceless and is something that can be passed on for generations!

Comments: Bruce was Great!! He was very easy to work with and he captured everything that was going on throughout the day. The turn-around

time for our video was great.....we had it in less than four weeks. The video itself is beautiful!! I cannot tell you how happy my

husband and I are that we decided to go with Bruce. I cannot stop watching our video! I definitely recommend Bruce to everyone!!

Comments: Bruce was professional, attentive, reliable, helpful, but most importantly he was friendly to every guest at our wedding. So many

of our guests commented on how nice Bruce was and several also mentioned, after seeing our video, "I didn't know he was there

for that! (unobtrusive coverage)". Our video came out better than we ever could have imagined and was done in a timely manner

(3 weeks). You could certainly tell that Bruce enjoys his business and takes a great deal of pride in his work; it definitely shows

in his demeanor and finished product! I would recommend him time and time again.

Comments: Bruce was very professional from the first time that my parents and then fiancé met him, and he also made us feel comfortable at the

same time. He even modified our photomontage because my fiancé did not have any pictures of when he was growing up (flood).

He kept in constant contact and kept me up to date with everything. He even was great enough to give me the names of some

photographers and studios that he's worked with so I could have an idea of where to start my search for a good photographer.

Artlynn Photography - Evergreen Park, IL - Caroll Whal

Comments: Our actual photographer was excellent. He was also very kind to our guests. Now, as for Artlynn as a company; after they received

our money and the wedding was over, they were very difficult to deal with. It was made clear that "we weren't the only couple in

the world that got married that day" and that "other weddings took priority over ours due to the package size they ordered"....I

could go on and on about the horrible customer service, but I won't. I will only say that I would never recommend them to anyone.

Comments: John helped the whole wedding party relax and enjoy the day. He even made the little kids laugh. John fit in so well that nobody

could believe he was a photographer. All of my guest that he was a relative! The pictures were beautiful and I had the hardest

time deciding which ones to put into the album because I wanted them all!!

Comments: We thought Art was unorganized and difficult to work with. I was very disappointed because we didn't get all of the shots we wanted.

We started photos four hours before the wedding and still did not get all of the shots we wanted. The actual pictures that he took

were wonderful, but we found him hard to work with. My Videographer and DJ also found him difficult to work with. Edward Fox

in general has been very good to work with. I would recommend the studio, but get a different photographer.

Comments: Karen was wonderful. One of the cameras during our reception malfunctioned and pictures were lost. G's First Class was less

than forthcoming with this information and left a small, but bad taste in our mouths.

Comments: The pictures turned out beautifully, but the way she went about getting them was rather rude. She rushed and kept us so late

with pictures after the ceremony that we couldn't do our receiving line. It is sort of hard to get a hold of her too.

Comments: Very dissatisfied with photographer. We paid a very high amount for this photographer. Even though all his example work was

beautiful, when I got my proof book back I cried at the low quality of work and the amount of missed pictures and events - no

pictures of myself and each of my bridesmaids, groom and each groomsman....I don't even have a picture of myself and my flower girl

alone. You are getting so many pictures taken on your wedding day you can't keep track of all the pictures that have been taken...that

is supposed to be the photographers job to get the shots on the list we prepared ahead of time. This is just the start of his horrid

work. In the group photos the people aren't even lined up equally. He missed taking a picture of our leaving the church!!! What

kind of photographer misses the church "get-away" shot?!! He was too busy chasing balloons we had released to get a picture of us.

During the reception "family" shots he forgot to add the Bride and Groom in with my family!! One year later I am still upset as my

grandfather has passed since that day and the only recent family picture with him in, I am not. Also while taking pictures he pulled

out an Elmo doll. No one was amused as everyone in the wedding party was an adult and we don't need an Elmo doll to smile. The

only shots taken during the ceremony were shot from the balcony at the very rear of the sanctuary. They were shot from so far away,

you can not even see our faces. When asked about this Jim stated that my church does not allow pictures to be taken in the sanctuary.

I later asked my officiant about this who told me that simply was not true. Thank goodness for WilksVison. Bruce captured our entire

ceremony (and entire day) so discreetly we hardly even knew he was there. Even though Bruce shot the ceremony from the back of the

center aisle (as to not block any of our guests view), the images on-screen are larger than life (as if he was standing 2 feet away), and

audio is crystal clear, allowing us to re-live our vows and words of wisdom from our officant forever. I was so disappointed with my

photographer, I ended up ordering still capture shots off the video from Bruce of all the shots Mr. Womack missed. I would NEVER

recommend Jim to anyone.

guests tell me how great he was. I would definitely recommend Jeff!!

Comments: My husband and I, who are not dancers, stayed on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG!! Jeff did an amazing job that night. He, like

our videographer, was professional, attentive, reliable, helpful, and of course, friendly. Everyone at the reception enjoyed themselves

so much. Because the music is such a critical part of the reception, we interviewed several other DJs before finding Jeff; once we

found him, we "knew" he was perfect for us. We would definitely recommend Jeff again and again!!

Comments: Absolutely wonderful!! Mark has a wonderful personality and really conveys it well. He did a great job getting everyone involved and

knew what kind of music to play to keep everyone out on the dance floor. He played everyone's requests and was wonderful to work

with. He promptly returned all phone calls during the preparation stage. I would highly recommend J & M Productions.

Comments: I spent a long time working on a list of songs that I wanted to have played. He played about 5 songs off that list. He started playing

the wrong song for the Father/Daughter dance, and the music and his microphone were way too quiet. He messed up names during

the introduction, and he failed to announce our flower girl, even though she was on the list. After he ignored my list, he proceeded

to only play country music, and we aren't even fans of country music. Completely horrible.

Comments: Wes kept the music flowing during our reception, but was not at all accommodating to our wants or our guests and videographer and

photographer. Wes is short tempered and impatient when requests come to him or you ask him to alter something. He was rude to

my wife and he even had the nerve to tell me that his is not a people person!

Comments: They were pretty good except that some of our tux jackets were slightly different than what we had picked out. You couldn't notice

it on some of the guys, but my brother's was horrible. It was the wrong jacket and it was several sizes too big. We had to start

pictures with it on and it was very noticeable. When we called and told them that we could not get back to the store they sent

someone with another jacket to the church. This jacket was much better but they had to let down the sleeve length, so he was left

with a crease around his wrists.

Comments: We had groomsmen from all over Northern Illinois and Wisconsin and they were all able to get their tuxes without a problem and

the price was reasonable also.

Comments: Everything with the tuxes was fine, but the woman we worked with wasn't the most personable employee. They didn't have the color

ties I really wanted, but we found something as similar as possible. They measured a few of them wrong the first time, so

everything had to get done a second time. But the tuxes came in on time, and everything was ordered.

Comments: They messed up our orders and were not very accommodating to my wedding party! They did give me my tux rental free for the

mess-up, but it still caused a big headache. Not something you need to deal with for your wedding.

Comments: There was a little confusion at first, but they were quick to clear it up. The tuxedos were very handsome and from what my groom

said, were very comfortable; even the shoes. They have several locations around Illinois, which we found convenient, due to the

fact the we had groomsmen that lived in the Chicago suburbs. Overall they did a fine job and I would recommend them.

Comments: They were extremely nice, and they helped us with every choice while letting us have the freedom to choose. The flowers were

perfect and delivered on time for a very reasonable price. We used them again to send flowers to a friend because we liked them

so much.

Comments: I didn't have to buy a certain "package". I told her an idea of what I wanted and what I definitely didn't want and I was absolutely

blown away with my bridal bouquet. The pew bows were perfect also. They added just enough of a touch of elegance.

Comments: Frank was awesome! My flowers were beautiful! We had a guest that works with a florist and she told me the minute she walked

into the church that the florist really knew what he was doing. I was at a wedding last weekend and noticed a huge difference in the

quality of her flowers compared to mine. Frank was also very nice to work with. He really has an eye for what he does.

Comments: At first they were very friendly and helpful. After the contract was signed and we had given them a non-refundable deposit the story

changed. They told us that the price they quoted us for a particular flower more than doubled due to hurricane season, (I called

other florists and that was not the case with them) so we opted to have fewer of that flower in the bouquets. Three days before the

wedding they called and asked if I had ordered orange roses...I responded by telling them I hadn't....I asked for black magic roses.

They told me black magic roses would cost extra! After blowing my top and threatening to call the BBB, they changed their tune.

The flowers, although lovely, arrived more than 20 minutes late and put our photograher behind. I felt as if they were trying to take

advantage of us as they knew we didn't have time to go anywhere else and they had our money. Bad, bad service!! I would WARN

anyone against using them!!

Chateau Rand - Ken Chapman

Comments: The first time we walked into the building, we knew we would have our reception there. We were greeted right away and before they

took us on a tour of the facility they took us to the kitchen and offered to make us a couple of plates to sample. We were also

impressed with every room we saw. They were separate rooms, not just one big room separated by folding walls. Every time we

called or visited the site, they treated us like people, not just a sale.

Cliffbreakers - Rockford, IL

Comments: It was beautiful and the food was excellent. Our wedding consultant, Libby, was very attentive to our needs, but hard to get a hold

of at times. At one point our DJ noticed there was a rather long line at the bar and brought this to our attention. Libby immediately

got us another bartender. If you plan to use Cliffbreakers be prepared to stay on top of things - write everything down - get things

in writing. Overall, a great place to have a reception.

Del Webb's Drendel Hall - Huntley, IL

Comments: The food was actually good. However, they served our vegetarian guests meat after I had gone over with the catering manager

a couple of times about where to guests requiring vegetarian meals were sitting. We had a cash bar for the first half hour,

but they kept it cash bar for the first hour. Then they didn't open the bar on time after dinner. Also, they served kids meals

to people who weren't considered children. Even though the scenery was pretty we got jerked around way too much so I

definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Imperial Banquets - Aurora

Comments: The power was out at our reception through dinner due to an area power outage (no fault of Imperial). The staff kept candles lit

and everyone was well taken care of, including my bride! Awesome job!!! The food was great too!!!

St. Mary's Memorial Hall - Sycamore, IL

Comments: During the 17 months I was dealing with them, the event coordinator changed 3 times. That was frustrating. I thought I would be

saving money by having me reception there, but since they charge you extra for every little thing, it really is no savings at all. They

ended up having more servers/bussers than we had discussed, when they weren't even needed. When my mom would go into the

kitchen many of them were just sitting around, even though they were getting paid $15 an hour. We even had to refill our own water

pitchers. The actual hall is very nice and we were pleased with it.. I tried to reach them after the wedding because a camera was left

and I got no response back after several months. I guess since they already had the money there was no reason to return phone calls.

Comments: They were the best priced and had the best attitude. It was more cost efficient to go with their LimoBus for the whole day rather

than go with another companies stretch limo for a couple of hours. Kirby was our driver and he made sure we were at every

location on time, and also made sure we got our money's worth out of the ride. They were even nice enough to pick up the girls

at the hotel, drive them to photo location, back to hotel for the guys, take the guys to the church, and back to get the girls to

take them to the church. All that running around without any extra cost or attitude! We loved them.
